Tricot Machine Knitted Automotive Interior Fabric

Automotive textiles mainly include woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics and fiber composite materials. 

Woven fabrics and knitted fabrics are the two main categories. 

The fibers used in automobiles are mainly chemical fibers, and polyester is the most used. Polyester has good abrasion resistance, high tear strength, mildew resistance, UV resistance, good resilience and wrinkle resistance, easy to clean, and relatively cheap. According to statistics, polyester consumption accounts for more than 90% of the automotive decorative fabric market.

For a long time, people think that soft-touch fabrics have high-end texture and belong to high-end products. Therefore, suede-like fabrics that are soft to the touch, gorgeous in appearance, comfortable and elegant are used as car interior fabrics. To achieve a suede-like soft, silky feel, polyester filaments must be used, typically ultra-fine sea-island fibers. The linear density of polyester filament is generally 56-220dtex. When the linear density is less than 56dtex, the fluffing density is small, and the good appearance of the suede-like fabric cannot be achieved; Appearance surface rough. However, compared with other automotive fabrics (such as genuine leather, woven fabric, flannel, etc.), the suede fabric using this microfiber is easier to absorb dust and has poor abrasion resistance.
